Valentine's Day Wedding

We are so happy for Cody and Tara. They were married on Valentine's Day. It was a wonderful wedding and beautiful reception. The day was snowy and roads a bit hazzardous but a neat day. The kids were so excited to be a part of wedding. The boys all had pink shirts and ties on (which was cool with Taylor because Marshal, Tara's younger brother, was wearing one as well.) The little girls all matched and looked so cute. Taylor was able to serve at the reception and Abby and Brinley carried little baskets with napkins in them. Dallin loved to follow all the kids around and eat the refreshments. Congratulations to the newest Rhodes family.

Celebrating Abigail Rae

Abby, you are such a sweet daughter! It is such a privilege to be your Mom. You have such a fun personality. The day you were born my heart was filled with such wonder. You have a light about you that draws people near you. You are beautiful, kind and loving. I hope you love being six. Don't grow up too fast.
Happy Birthday Abby Rae. WE LOVE YOU.

Birthday fun

Abby turned 6. I really can't believe my baby is 6. She had a little birthday party this year. Even before Christmas she was planning and thinking all about it. I had originally told her that she could invite 5 friends. For a few days she was in such turmoil until she finally admitted there were only 6 girls in her school class and she just didn't know who not to invite. Needless to say I let her invite 1 more girl. Jared graciously took the boys and left me with a houseful of giggling little girls. Thanks to Tiffany and Sherry, the party went smoothly and the girls had a fun time. Regardless of all the planning and activities, the favorite thing seemed to be for all the girls to try on all of Abby's shoes.

New Years

I love New Years. Not so much New Yars Eve and staying up late. But I like the starting of a new year. I always wonder what this year will bring. Good and Bad. I like to make new years resolutions and see how long I can keep them.

We had a great time on New Years Eve. We spent the Evening with some friends in Ogden. We moved the clock up 2 hours and had fun eating and visiting. The kids had a great time playing.

On New Years Day we had the Rhodes family over. We had lunch and all the kids went sledding. This is Dallin's favorite pasttime. The hill at the end of the pasture is little but the kids get going pretty fast.
